Christmas Carol The Three Wise Men

by Coro Yerbabuena

2000 years ago the books tell

that in an old stable in Bethlehem was born

a blessed child that would be the son

of that woman they called Maria

They say that a star guided the way

Three Wise Men towards their destiny

From Persia they set out with their caravan

a white star in the sky was shining

she is our guide

at last they found the star of the East that would take them

to a far away place

where in a stable will be born that child called Messiah

Take- Take us

they shouted to the sky

Take- Take us

lead us to HIM

that the road is long and we are reaching Jerusalem

Take- Take us (Take us, Take us)

they shouted to the sky

Take- Take us

lead us to HIM

and the white star marked the path that leads to Bethlehem.

three wise men from the east

following a star

the freezing cold

the heavy sand

the wind rises

kissing the dunes

draw three shadows

moonlight

Three wizards walk

they come from far away

to the King of Heaven

they want to meet him

The long way

that leads to Bethlehem

three wise men from the east

following a star

The night falls suddenly

and gets lost among the varal

Tomorrow we will continue, Baltasar told them

I feel that it is close

little can be missing

with the clear of the day we will cross the Jordan

and while i was sleeping

an angel from heaven appeared to him

find the child

that star guides you

that Herod does not know

where the son is born

of Joseph and Mary

Three Wise Men from the East came to see him.

to venerate it, to know it

to the King of Heaven

José hugged him and whispered to him

don’t be afraid

that here is your mother

little star

The shepherds were full of joy

to meet the Son of Mary

at dawn

Presents, gifts to the Child brought

in the cold night

and they knelt

before his messiah

And he was born in Bethlehem

between the ox and the mule

And he was born in Bethlehem

The stars saw the most beautiful face that could be born

And he was born in Bethlehem

And he was born in Bethlehem

And he was born in Bethlehem

naked and with nothing at dawn

And he was born in Bethlehem

The wind blew and caressed her face at dawn

And he was born in Bethlehem

And he was born in Bethlehem

The Wizards arrived at their destination

behind was the desert sand

the days and nights on the way

the moon, the stars and the winds

Before her eyes a newborn

who sleeps in the arms of Mary

Three men that you feel chill

before the image of the new Messiah

And he was born in Bethlehem

between an ox and a mule in the dark night

And he was born in Bethlehem

The stars saw the most beautiful face that could be born

And he was born in Bethlehem

And he was born in Bethlehem

And he was born in Bethlehem

naked and with nothing at dawn

And he was born in Bethlehem

The wind blew and caressed her face at dawn

And he was born in Bethlehem

And he was born in Bethlehem
