You have to eat them one by one, to the rhythm of the chimes that signal midnight on December 31st.

Just before the chimes, a metal clock ball is lowered and four quarters strike.

Whoever manages to take all of them on time will also have a year full of luck and prosperity.

The chimes are broadcast live on television throughout Spain from Puerta del Sol in Madrid.
