With a total height of 145 meters, it is the third tallest building in the Catalan capital, only surpassed by the Hotel Arts Barcelona and the Mapfre Tower (both 154 meters high).
It was officially inaugurated by the kings of Spain on September 16, 2005.
One of the most characteristic elements of the building is its night lighting.
Casa Milà, popularly called “La Pedrera” (“quarry” in Catalan), is a modernist building, the work of the architect Antoni Gaudí.
It was built, between 1906 and 1912, at number 92 Paseo de Gracia. The house was built at the request of the Pedro Milá y Camps and Roser Segimon couple.
Since it opened to the public in 1987, it has received more than 20 million visits (approximately one million each year), making it one of the ten most visited places in Barcelona.

La Rambla, also called Las Ramblas (Catalan Les Rambles ), is an emblematic promenade in the city of Barcelona that runs between Plaza de Catalunya (in Catalan, Plaça de Catalunya ), the city center, and the old port.
The promenade is full of people during the day and until late at night.
Newspaper kiosks, flower stands, and street actors, painters, and cartoonists are typical.
Cafes, restaurants, and shops abound.
Walking along La Rambla, you can see several buildings of interest, such as the Palacio de la Virreina, the La Boquería market, and the famous El Liceo theater (in Catalan, El Liceu ), where operas and ballets are performed.
The Paseo de La Rambla ends at the old port, where the famous statue of Christopher Columbus is located. And from there, a wide walkway called Rambla de Mar leads to the dock of Spain, where the Maremagnum shopping center is located.
In the immediate vicinity is the Maritime Museum ( Museu Maritim ), dedicated especially to the naval history in the Mediterranean, and in which a full-scale reproduction of an old combat galley is exhibited.
The old port offers other attractions, such as a leisure and shopping center, restaurants, an IMAX cinema, and the largest aquarium of Mediterranean marine fauna.
Park Güell (Parc Güell in Catalan and Park Güell in its original name) is a public park with gardens and architectural elements in the city of Barcelona (Spain).
Conceived as an urbanization, it was designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism, and commissioned by the businessman Eusebi Güell.
It was built between 1900 and 1914, it was inaugurated as a public park in 1926.
It is part of the World Heritage Site, declared by UNESCO as ” Works of Antoni Gaudí “, where it was registered in 1984 together with the Güell Palace and the Milà House.

It was designed by the Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill and was inaugurated on October 1, 2009.

A castell (from Catalan; ‘castle’) is a human tower several stories high that has been traditionally built in Valls, a city located in Campo de Tarragona, for more than two hundred years (references are found from the 18th century). ,and that later spread to the Penedés and, during the 20th century, throughout Catalonia, Roussillon , especially from the eighties, which means that it is closely linked to popular festivals.
It is an evolution of the Valencian muixeranga , traditional from Algemesí.
A casteller is a person who is part of a castellera group to organize castells .
On November 16, 2010, the castles were declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco.
A large group of men and women of all ages and physical complexions participate in a castell who train throughout the year for contests and performances.
